Belt coal feeder is an electromechanical integrated product that integrates feeding conveying and feeding control. It is an important equipment in cement production. Our company's two production lines use nearly 40 belt coal feeders, involving five suppliers including Chengde Chengshen, Chengde Lianchuang, Jiangsu Saimo, Shaanxi Sida, and Shanghai Fufeng, all of which include original imported and domestic instruments.
1. The difference between the ingredients in the front and back sections
From the perspective of workshop environmental factors, the equipment hygiene of the front-end batching system is better than that of the back-end batching system. Moreover, the workshop has achieved its own understanding of the working principle of the batching scale, analyzed the operating status of the feeding scale in detail, and mastered the maintenance work during actual production operation. On the contrary, the workers in the batching system position in the later section lack basic knowledge of the belt coal feeder, and the on-site operating environment is worse than the previous section environment.
2. Issues related to belt length
Most domestic belt coal feeders are manufactured by introducing foreign technology, and manufacturers often consider reducing production costs. For weighing section lengths and total belt lengths, the distance between the feeding port of the belt coal feeder and the weighing section is too small, and the materials are not evenly distributed when they reach the weighing section. The squeezing of the feeding port materials on the belt affects the actual load of the weighing section. At the same time, during the transportation of powder materials, A belt that is too short can easily cause punching. However, our company's current ingredient scale (especially in the later stages) has undergone a lot of adjustments in actual usage, such as the replacement of the original supporting reducers with each other, the increase in production capacity, and the change of the original supporting reducers, all of which have certain influencing factors.
3. Issues related to the thickness of the material layer on the belt
In use, the belt coal feeder operates while maintaining a certain thickness of the material, increasing the material thickness as much as possible, increasing the load of the material on the belt coal feeder, and reducing the weight of the influence of belt tension on measurement accuracy. When our company first started production, it was basically in a stable state. However, with the continuous improvement of process requirements, the original batching scale design and supporting machine hour production capacity gradually failed to meet the production machine hour requirements. Without improving the hardware equipment, we relied on changing control parameters to increase the machine hour. This made the thickness of the material on the belt very thin, and the speed of the belt coal feeder increased, even at full speed, These issues are also one aspect of the poor stability of the belt coal feeder.
4. Understanding of calibration
Reasonably calibrate the belt coal feeder and use physical calibration to minimize the impact of external factors on the belt tension. Before physical calibration, weights of different masses should be used for multiple hanging calibration to verify the linearity and repeatability of the sensor. Physical calibration can truly reflect the actual operation status of the belt coal feeder, usually once a week, but it is difficult for our company to achieve the above standards in actual production.
