Electronic belt scale is a measuring equipment that automatically and continuously weighs the bulk solid materials transported on the belt conveyor. It can measure the instantaneous flow rate and cumulative flow rate of the materials transported on the belt conveyor during the material transportation process. Its main components are composed of a weighing bridge, weighing sensor, speed sensor, and weighing display.
The weighing frame structure of the electronic belt scale load-bearing device is mostly of the multi roller type. We install the weighing frame under the belt of the running belt conveyor. When there is material passing through the belt conveyor, the weight of the material will generate a certain pressure. The roller on the weighing frame uses the lever principle to apply this pressure to the weighing sensor in the weighing frame, Generate a voltage signal corresponding to the weight of the material per unit length of the belt conveyor, and at the same time, the speed sensor on the belt conveyor measures a signal corresponding to the running speed of the belt. The weighing display controller settles these two signals through integral operation under the control and command of the program software, thereby obtaining the instantaneous flow rate and cumulative weight value of the material on the belt conveyor. The instantaneous flow rate and cumulative weight are displayed digitally on the weighing display.
Nowadays, the weighing control and display instruments of electronic belt scales only work in the measurement mode, and the control functions have been completely replaced by computer systems. Operators can directly monitor, zero, automatically calibrate intervals, and compensate linearly through the computer system.
A series of control operations such as maintenance and fault diagnosis.
When the electronic belt scale is started, the computer system controls the driving motor to drive the belt conveyor, and the weighing display controller of the electronic belt scale is integrated with the driving motor. When the driving motor is started, a startup signal is given to the weighing display controller of the electronic belt scale, and the feeding mechanism feeds the material to the belt. When the material flows through the weighing scale frame, the weight of the material is transmitted to the weighing sensor through the weighing roller, The weighing sensor measures the load value signal per unit length of the belt, while the speed sensor measures the operating speed signal of the belt at the same time. The material weighing signal output by the weighing sensor and the speed signal output by the speed sensor are sent to the weighing display controller for data processing to obtain the weight value of the material flowing through at this moment.
Then, the obtained material weight value flow signal is sent to the computer control system, where the system accumulates and calculates the continuous flow signal to obtain the cumulative value of the material flowing through the electronic belt scale. When the drive motor stops running, the weighing display controller of the electronic belt scale is in standby mode, stopping the measurement operation.
This control method using computer systems improves the accuracy, stability, and reliability of electronic belt scales.
