This device mainly consists of six parts: base, hydraulic tension winch, tension cylinder, hydraulic tension buffer device, control box, and tension sensor.

Basic working principle
In automatic control mode, the control system first checks the tape tension. If there is a malfunction in the tensioning system, any operation will be ineffective. If the detection is normal, start the tensioning device to tension the belt. When the tension reaches the set starting tension, stop the tension, and at the same time, the electrical control box sends a signal that the belt conveyor can start, causing the belt conveyor to start and accelerate its operation. After the belt conveyor reaches a constant speed operation state, the controller controls the tensioning device to reduce the tension. When the tension of the conveyor belt decreases to the required value for normal operation, the tension stops.

The tension monitoring device automatically monitors the tension of the tape at any time. Once the tension is found to be less than the set "lower limit", it will restart the tensioning device and increase the tape tension. When the tension exceeds the upper limit, the system will also automatically start. When the tension drops below the upper limit, the tension buffer device can absorb brief tension fluctuations during the normal transportation process of the belt conveyor.
