Technical description of capacitance level gauge:
Overview
The CAP series point position controller is dedicated to monitoring the solid, liquid, and mud point positions in dry material warehouses, ship warehouses, and chutes, which can prevent overfilling, chute blockage, and empty warehouses, thereby eliminating material overflow, material waste, and equipment downtime. CAP can also be used as a high and low level indicator in plastics, food, chemicals, mud, or other materials. The CAP series controller detects the presence or absence of materials by measuring changes in the dielectric constant of materials and air, resulting in changes in capacitance. To detect these small changes, the CAP series sensor uses a detection circuit that can operate at a relatively low frequency (6KHz). Unlike other capacitive sensors, the CAP series operates at a frequency lower than the RF (radio frequency) level and is not limited by FCC rules.
Device Description
The CAP series capacitive level controller has a "fault automatic protection" structure that can eliminate fault displays caused by power outages. The high/low optional switch allows the sensor to be set as fault self-protection. When there is no material, the low material level is set as fault self-protection, or when there is material, the high material level is set as fault self-protection. When a power outage occurs, the controller will indicate the safety status set by the user. Another important feature of the CAP controller is the adjustable time delay control, which can reduce misoperation caused by sudden material fluctuations and liquid splashing by delaying for 10 seconds.
The CAP II series material level controller has a shielding structure that can eliminate misoperation caused by equipment sensing surface material accumulation. With this shielding, the sensor automatically compensates for the impact caused by material accumulation and only indicates the presence or absence of the target material. These structures make this controller a good choice for measuring high fly ash or viscous materials.

5. Model Description
CAP IIX |
CAP IIX-FL |
CAP IIIX |
The CAP IIX capacitive level gauge is designed for materials that are prone to accumulation at the probe. Its shielding probe can automatically compensate for material accumulation and indicate the true presence/absence of materials in the silo. In addition, CAP IIX is specifically designed for use in hazardous environments. |
The CAP IIX-FL capacitive level gauge is a flat panel installation version of CAPIIX and has the same level of hazardous environmental protection as it. The edge of the flat flange also has a shielding option to compensate for material accumulation. |
The CAP IIIX capacitor level gauge is a reliable and economical product. The probe is made of 15.88 mm (0.625 in) stainless steel structure, providing enhanced durability for use in corrosive and abrasive environments. On the basis of ensuring reliability and durability, CAP IIIX is the most economical capacitor level gauge |
